The similar e-mail was received by me from:

It seems that this “business” still goes on!
Perhaps it’s worth to pass names of all those companies to The Chamber of Trade and Commerce of Hong Kong for investigation?

Subject: URGENT Notice of Internet Intellectual Property Rights “Domain Name” Dispute in China

Dear CEO,

We are the organization of Asian Brand and Domain registration dispute, have something need to confirm with you. we formally received an application on Nov 18,2010. one company which called “India Lindom Investment Co Ltd” are applying to register “Domain Name” as Brand Name and Domains.
(Listing 10 domain names with our domain name in Asia, HongKong, Taiwan & India).
But we found that “India Lindom Investment Co Ltd” is not the original owner of the brand and trademark in the checking period,which belong to your company .I need confirm with you whether your company authorized that company to register these domain name.If you have done that ,We will finish the registration for them and link to their website.
If not ,please let me know ASAP.
In addition, we hereby affirm that our time limit for dissent application is 7 workdays. If your company files no dissent within the time limit, we will unconditionally approve the application.

Hi, I’ve received in our company e-mail account the same message, a certain Ranny told me that another company wanted to buy domain names identical at our company and if I wanted to buy protection about that name. Naturally I have immediately thought about a fraud and I’ve found the confirm of my suspects here and in other blogs.
